Donegal Atlantic Way Ultra Race 555km – WE WON!
Donegals most challenging cycle race took place yesterday the 23rd June at the Mount Errigal hotel with 104 teams taking part from all over the globe. The race took place over 555km of Donegals most rugged coastline along the wild Atlantic way and the Shandon were delighted to be supporting Team Tri Quads as the go to do battle against the top cyclists in the country!
Triona Mc Menamin, Lisa Dalton, Catherine Regan and Emma Mc Gee are all award winning triathletes, lifesavers and runners won the overall ladies team at the Donegal Ultra in a time of 19:42 becoming he first ever ladies team winners! They also came 5th overall in the 4 person teams!
